Chao belli e belle!
Another week has passed in Bergolo, things are really heating up and not because of the temperature, I can assure you.
For starters, this Monday we had our team building. The vitality team spent the whole day in Cascina Crocetta. It was a beautiful occasion as we had finally the opportunity to be all together and have some great moments with bonding activities.
Also I have great NEWS to deliver to you. We have a new addition to our team.
Livia
She is our new coordinator and she will assist us in our Vitality mission.
A small additional information for her: She is Italian but in her heart she is fully greek, like me. (Hello Sofia here once again. I told you, I would take over the digital space of Vitality)
And since we are speaking about arrivals..
Guess who is back?? YES Flavio. He came to give us our proper goodbyes and stay a few days with us (or maybe more, who knows?)
In the video Flavio is showcasing his incredible singing & guitar skills, accompanied by the equally talented Livia.
Before I start telling you about office and our projects, let's speak about Angelina's trip to Rome. She got the opportunity to meet her friend whom she hadn’t see for 15 years, go around Rome and visit Radio Vatican office and have a professional meeting with them. Moreover, she even went to an ice cream shop that had more that 150 flavors. Can you believe it??
Anyhow, before you get jealous, let’s see what happened to our office team this week.
This week Eufemia youth exchange started taking place in Bergolo.
As you can see we did our usual rituals and prepared all the necessary places for the participants.
For this project, Sefa and Raul are assisting in the kitchen along with Davide.
I would like to provide you with photos but we were all preoccupied with the delicious food they made. (Next week we promise you though, we will make sure we take their picture in the kitchen)
At the same time in Bergolo, concert season started officially and we are more than excited. Actually a series of concerts will be happening from now until September and already our experience with the first one was stunning. We witnessed a quartet of violins performing classical pieces of music but also covers of rock songs.
Moreover, we had a permaculture course in Cascina Crocetta (I told you the heat was rising). It was led by our beautiful Silvia and it was from 23 to 26 June. Tim and Mili were there to support her and they did an amazing job in the duration of it.
I even got to witness a small part of it and I can assure you of that.
In addition, participants left their feedback and it was more than positive. They said that they were inspired by the way our team created harmony through biodiversity and colors.
At this point, I want to signify how important it is for us to have these moments of appreciation. It keeps us going with our mission of bringing Vitality everywhere around us. For some, we may are just volunteers, but for us, this is more than a volunteering experience. Everyday we put ourselves there, exposing us in every possible way, and despite the challenges, we keep on moving forward!
For now, goodbye from me. Please take care and see you next week! ❤️
