Ok, here we go again. A week ago, Bergolo was on fire! Literally. We managed to resolve the issue with minimal damage. Rest in peace, Flavio's jacket. Oh, come on, you're Flavio's jacket. There will never be a possibility for you to rest.
After fighting the fire we built a tent for the upcoming project activities. We put here the photos "before-after" as a reminder that we can do amazing things even if we think that we can't. It's a pity that there was no light when we were making the tents for the participants. That's why we have no proofs that we can do even better.
The best part of that day was Flavio's house inauguration. We made dinner, laughed, danced, sang, and had a wonderful time together. We almost memorized the lyrics of Sofia and Flavio's song. I remember the lyrics. there was something like... ehm... Mario knows... Mario knows... Or maybe it's another song. Anyway, we're still working on Bergolo volunteers' first album.
Of course, there always is a place for Cascina Crocetta in our hearts. We seeded more than 50 varieties of plants in the last two weeks. Few of them started sprouting already! We enjoy our work in the regenerative garden quite a lot! So Milica and Halyna, who will mostly stay chilling in Cascina this week, are the luckiest volunteers ever. Moreover, Mili now can drive us there.
Finally, we have more pictures with Halyna. Just enjoy. Yeah, Halyna, we are talking to you, to the biggest fan of our Blog. We hope now you'll stop tormenting people by asking them to take a photo with you. (Oh, Halyna, you're hilarious, no one will ever suspect that you're the one writing these words.)
Ok, we have one more person to present to you. It's Angelina. She is our new volunteer from Belarus. She just arrived and currently is working in the kitchen with Raul and Fabiano. There is a huge amount of work in the kitchen for the hosting project so we still had no chance to get to know her properly. Yeah, you are right guessing who will be one of the main paparazzi's targets next week.
And we spent a beautiful evening in Cascina Crocetta inaugurating Silvia's new home. Don't get the wrong idea, we are not partying all the time. It just happened that this week there were decent reasons to have dinner together. And probably there will be more good reasons for that in the future.
Yet - here came more people to Bergolo. Yeah, everybody agrees that the cooking outfit suits Raul as if he was born to wear it. Thank you for the food, by the way.
Our first hosting project. Unforgettable experience. We made it. We are a great team. And I still love you, guys.
P.S. Just in case, if there is someone who's not sure that Tim is doing well here. He is doing great. He always makes people feel comfortable around him. Even when he drives a car. Everyone here sometimes wants to be Tim. We're the "Tim-team" after all! We love him. We hug him a lot. And he also hugs us back. Here are some proofs:
