Buona giornata a tutti
Hello from the cold and rainy days of Bergolo, I am Sefa and welcome you all to a new Monday post. I can't wait to inform you about this week's events, so let's get started.
After the end of the last project and the departure of our guests, we visited the ecovıllage La Casa Rotta with the organisation of our coordinator Silvia as a Vitality team. 🦋
There, they shared a lot of information about organic farming which can be useful for our future garden planning! We also started to speak about a possible collaboration in our reasearch about traditional agricultural knowledge (TAK). I can say that we had a nice conversation and we crowned this visit with a nice lunch. I honestly think that this experience will be useful for us.🐓
On the other hand, Mili and I were in Cascina this week and even though it was late, today I harvested one of the melons I planted three months ago. We harvested tomatoes, beans, lettuce, corn and some cucumbers.🌻
Then we watered our newly planted radishes, rocket, lettuce and other vegetables and fruits, we took out our dried corn and herbs from our garden and dismantled the wooden sticks on which we tied the vegetables.
We had a pleasant time in Cascina with the tasks given to us by our coordinator Silvia. We also weeded our vegetables and fruits and then completed our work by fertilising some plants.
I can say that Tim, Mia, Sofia and Angie have been cheering up the office all week. Raul is very excited about the new project. In the next project Raul will cook as a chef, we have full confidence in him and Angie, Mia and I will help him. We will do good work together with chef "tranquilo", this week Raul also made pizza for us! It was absolutely marvellous. Of course I can't skip the cake I made myself, I had a good result on my first attempt and I can't wait to try it in future projects.🍰
That's what happened in Bergolo this week, see you next week, dress warmly and don't catch cold. Goodbye😊
