Slow down, it's just me

Hello everyone, Mia is back with a new Monday post😏 Nice to see you again. ✌️

At the beginning of the month, I had a short vacation to visit my family and friends in Trentino Alto Adige. I decided to plan my trip in a way that I can also go to Genoa. To explore Italy.

This decision had an unexpected outcome. I was traveling by bus so I could observe how the landscape was changing. Seeing all these dried-up rivers in towns and villages made me realize how little I'm aware of the environmental changes. It's terrifying. In such moments I feel useless and powerless.

And yet, the trip was meant not to reflect on my relationship with nature only, but to have a good time. So, I brought back with me lots of beautiful moments:

Seaside of Genoa

Lago di Garda

Lago di Caldonazzo

Adige river in Trento

How was it - coming back to the external world? Refreshing and illuminating. Sometimes it felt like traveling to another dimension. I faced again my old struggles and wounds. They're still the same. Nothing changed over there. People and their problems remained as they were before I started my volunteering experience. But I`ve definitely changed. My perception changed. As if I met some aliens who were looking at me through a curved mirror of their own beliefs. So it felt like people were seeing me as a twisted reflection of who I really am.

After coming back from my vacation I started my usual office routine slowly. Maybe it's because of the weather or because of my tiredness in general but I have a feeling that everything in Bergolo is changing too fast these days. Or maybe I just don't like our practicals 😁 Anyway, I'm happy that I had time to work on video editing so I could finish my tutorials.

And the best part of coming back to Bergolo - C O N C E R T S !!!!! This time I was assisting with the streaming of two beautiful performances. I feel so grateful to see all these talented people.

As you see, this time I don't share with you what were the other volunteers doing this week. It doesn't mean there is nothing to tell. They're doing well and I still love them all. But the details you'll see next time. Hugs and kisses.
