Buongiorno a tutti,
Sofia here, ready to take over the digital space of Vitality and expose the daily lives of our volunteers! Summer started officially today and we are more than ready to embrace what is ahead of us.
For this week, Mili was having a great time on her vacation. She had the opportunity to camp at the seaside and even got a haircut for free, that is one hell of an experience. And the backstory of how she got the haircut is even crazier. But for the time being, we will leave you wondering, so just enjoy the magic view she sent us while she was there.
As for me, I joined forces with Sefa and we stayed in Cascina Crocetta for three days to assist. It was Sefa’s first time but he did great. You can see that he is in his natural environment.

We also had the opportunity to participate in some local visits of the course Drones & Photogrammetry (Part of Phigital project) that was taking place in Cascina Crocetta.
We witnessed the magic process of hazelnut production and how it turns into delicious sweets. And of course, we even got to try these sweets! Are you jealous yet?
Wait till I tell you about our barbecue experience.
Thursday Tim and Adel came to Cascina to join us in the barbecue we had. We ate, we laughed a lot and we sang around the fire.
Meanwhile, Raul and Angelina had a mini trip to Cortemilia. They had drinks, witnessed a ton lot of beautiful fireflies, and got to go back to Bergolo on foot.

At the end of the week, Mili returned, along with Mia and me, we went crazy on pride in Turin. Our visit there was memorable because we also had the chance to see Silvia and Adriano again (For those shameless people who don’t know them, they were participating in Bergolo Digitale last month)
We got to see an art exhibition that was taking place in Edera Squat. It is an occupied place in Turin that is used for events, but also it has kitchen, library, and hangout facilities people can use for free.
There, Silvia and Adriano were displaying and promoting their art.
In case you are wondering what happened to the office and if people there are still alive (Tim’s quote not mine) they had a really productive week.
They were so much productive, that they didn’t have the time to document their glorious moments, so I will inform you verbally.
During this week aside from the usual stuff, our dear volunteers took the time to create some promotional flyers for our organization.
Here you can check them out :
(They are FANTASTIC!)
Moreover, some of them (Namely Raul, Angelina, Tim, and Sefa) even helped our Mayor Mario during the weekend. Aren’t they awesome??
So that’s what went down this week! Hope you have a great rest of the week, take care and see you soon ❤️
